As I don't get a chance to write up about everything I get to play, I've decided to cover additional games quickly in a rapid fire format. This month we check out Uncharted 1 & 2 from the Uncharted Collection, Suikoden, Dungeon Travelers 2, and Persona 4 Dancing all Night.
Anyone like me who missed out on this game last generation, and now owns a PS4, really should check out the new Uncharted Collection.
Uncharted 2 is a hell of a rush, from start to finish. Featuring great action, story, and game-play.
I highly recommend giving this a play if you haven't had a chance to yet. I'd recommend playing the first Uncharted game beforehand, but if you are stretched for time, it isn't absolutely necessary.
Picked this classic PS1 RPG when it was on sale on the PSN store for my Vita.
I managed to play through the story in about 16 hours and really enjoyed my time with the title.
If you own a Vita, and enjoyed old school SNES RPGs back in the day, snap this game up.
As mentioned above, I've been working through the Uncharted games via the Uncharted Collection on my PS4 for the first time.
The original Uncharted game definitely not as good of a game as its direct sequel, but is still an enjoyable experience overall.
If you're new to the series like me, I’d suggest playing through the original game on easy difficulty, just to pick up on the story, to increase your enjoyment out of the much improved sequel.
An above average dungeon crawler , that is unfortunately tarnished by an overabundance of fan service.
I don't mind a bit of sexulation in games, but when 95% of the enemies in the game are wearing a thong, and/or dental floss as a top, it becomes ridiculous and embarrassing to play.
Unless this stuff doesn't bug you, take a pass. If you are new to the genre and want to try a dungeon crawler I'd suggest trying the Etrian Odyssey series for the Nintendo 3ds instead.
Oh man, what a disappointment…
I'm a huge fan of Persona 4, so when Persona 4, Dancing all Night was announced, I was intrigued, but not sold.
Just before Christmas, Amazon put the collector's edition up for sale for a pretty decent price, I ended up biting on it.
Unfortunately the game isn't very good. The story mode is frankly boring, and the actual rhythm game is pretty bland as well.
If you want a good RPG rhythm game, check out Theatrhythm Final Fantasy instead.
